Example: document approval workflow
This is just an example workflow. With InnovaBpm every process is fully configurable: custom states, tailored transitions, specific actions for your business needs.
We map your process. We start from how you work today. What are the states of a case? Who decides when to move from one state to another? What checks are needed? What notifications? We design it together.
We configure the workflow. States, transitions, visibility rules, automatic notifications: everything configured on the platform. You see your process, digitized.
You operate, the system keeps track. Cases enter, go through states, exit completed. Every step is tracked: who did what, when. If something gets stuck, you know where and why.
Exceptions are handled. A case needs to go back? It can. A case needs to skip a state? If the rules allow it, it can. The system is as flexible as your real process.

The platform is general and can be applied to any process with states, transitions and rules. Some examples of areas where it can be used:

Concrete examples
Manufacturing quality control
Imagine a company that produces precision mechanical components. Each batch goes through different phases: production, dimensional control, resistance tests, certification, shipping. If a control fails, the batch returns to processing or is scrapped. Everything needs tracking: who measured what, which tolerances aren’t met, which batches were reworked.
With InnovaBpm this process becomes digital: the batch enters the system at production, each quality control updates the status, non-conformities generate automatic alerts, certificates link to the batch. The quality manager sees bottlenecks in real time.
Patient management in healthcare facility
Another example: a patient’s journey in a private clinic or nursing home. From admission request to discharge, through medical evaluation, insurance authorization, bed assignment, therapies, specialist consultations, discharge planning. Each phase has different stakeholders: doctors, nurses, administrators, social workers.
InnovaBpm coordinates all actors: notifies the head physician for evaluation, the insurance office for authorization, the nursing coordinator for bed assignment. It tracks therapies, generates alerts for medication deadlines, documents every clinical decision. The family can follow their loved one’s status, administration sees occupancy in real time.

How it’s built
Architecture
Laravel/PHP backend, with support for both Oracle and PostgreSQL. REST APIs for integration with other systems. The workflow engine is the same one we use for our vertical products, in production at our clients.
Configurability
States and transitions definable from admin interface. Visibility rules by role and state. Customizable notification templates. Custom fields for each type of case.
Available integrations
The system can integrate with your existing applications via API. It can send notifications via email, SMS, PEC (certified email). It can generate documents from templates.
Performance and scalability
Multi-tenant architecture: if you serve multiple customers or divisions, each tenant has its workflow configured independently.
