How it works
InnovaSign offers three signing modes to cover different business needs:
Light Signature. The signer receives a first SMS code to access, reads the document, then receives a second SMS code to confirm the signature. The signature is recorded with date, time and verified identity.
Read Receipt. Identical to light signature in operation, but certifies that the recipient has read and acknowledged the content.
Qualified Digital Signature. For contracts and documents with full legal value. The signer downloads the document, signs it with their personal digital signature and uploads it back. InnovaSign automatically verifies:
- Technical validity of the signature
- Certificate issued by authorized entity
- Certificate not expired or revoked
- Match with expected signer
Multi-Signer Documents. InnovaSign automatically manages documents requiring multiple signatures in sequence:
- Each signer is contacted only when it’s their turn
- The document travels with signatures already collected
- Automatic notifications after each signature and at completion
- If someone doesn’t sign within deadline, the operation is cancelled
How it’s built
Architecture
InnovaSign is a workflow management system for digital signatures. The backend handles process orchestration: sending notifications, verifying SMS codes, tracking states, validating digital signatures. For qualified signatures, the system does not generate its own signatures but verifies those applied by signers with their personal devices. Simple and guided interface for signers on any device, complete dashboard for administrators with operations panel, search and configuration.
Configurability
Configurable session duration and timeouts, customizable notification templates for email and SMS, sequential or parallel signer order, automatic signature placement with tags in the PDF, automatic tax code validation, configurable retries on error.
Available integrations
InnovaSign easily integrates with business systems via REST API: request submission with document and signer data, webhooks for real-time notifications on completion, signed document download, progress monitoring. The system can integrate with any business application that needs to manage signature processes.
Performance and scalability
Automatic recovery after server restart, smart retries with 3 automatic attempts on error, automatic cancellation of expired operations, persistent queue to guarantee notifications.
Audit and compliance
Every step is recorded with date and time: document viewed, SMS code sent and verified, signature confirmed or document uploaded, notifications sent, IP and device used. Signer identity verification via SMS code, guaranteed document integrity, automatic digital signature validity check against official registries, secure document storage.
